What is a couplet?

A couplet is a poem of two poetry lines in a a row that rhyme. They usually have the same rhythm.

Example:

During the month of April, the Redwood Library will be collecting couplets on the subject of "school" for the Redwood Elementary school-wide poem. The final product will be posted online, and as a eBook.
