Math
"Adding" iPads to math instruction in many different ways!
Student Work Samples
Front Row Math
Front Row is an interactive math app that provides students with hands-on manipulatives and a white board to solve problems. If a student answers a problem incorrectly, they are shown a video to help them understand the content.
Google Classroom
Students are given assignments in Google Classroom to complete during their math rotations. Students watch videos, listen to songs, and create presentations to show what they have learned. They use Doceri, Poppet, Pic Collage, Shadow Puppet, and more to show and share their learning.
Student Collaboration
Students work together frequently during math instruction. In this picture, students were working on an angle scavenger hunt. They worked with a partner to find and take pictures of acute, obtuse, and right angles and then made a video using the Shadow Puppet app.
