Red River Campaign
by:isaac hernandez 3rd
Approximately 1,200 men prepared to defend their land against about 3,000 men. The first battle was fought in 1874. Many men registered at the reservations, but 4,000 other men-mainly three tribes didn't. Some of these regestrations were near canyons and valleys in the panhandle. The main target for this campaign was the Capital of Confederate, Shreveport.
