How to Survive High School

10 Tips of Survival:
Do not Procrastinate!
Procrastinating will not save time. Do not make the teachers upset with late work. They have lives too. It will only bring you more stress, and along with that you will never catch up.
2. Be Aware of Everything
Be aware of dress codes, individual rules made by teachers, and of any events or programs that are important. You do not want to be that person who breaks those rules. Knowing the rules will save you the consequences.
3. Get Organized!
Organization skills are the best tool you can use while in high school. Being organized helps you stay on top of homework along with extracurricular actives. Also, having your locker organized will help you be on time to class.
4. Avoid Drama
Drama is a waste of time, and not worth the consequences along with it. Do not create drama yourself either. You do not want to be the person who is voted " Drama Queen/King" by the time you graduate.
5. Surround Yourself with Good Influences.
Positive influences keep you and them out of trouble, and there will be only good consequences. Having good influences help you stay focused and encourages you to do good. Bad influences lead to a lack of focus, and does not encourage you they bring you down.
6. Get Involved!
Sitting around doing nothing besides school work is boring. Plus, getting in extra-curricular activities look good on collage scholarships, but that is not the only reason to get involved. Being involved helps you make new friends, have new experiences, and lets you out of your comfort zones.
7. Do ask for help!
Asking for help is the best thing you can do when you do not understand something. Teachers are there to help you learn, and asking them for help is something they are there for. Teachers are also the best one of the best people to talk to .
8. Do your best!
Sometimes you might struggle, but if you do your best it will work out. There is also teachers who can help, so ask. By doing your best, you will feel more confident about the work you have done.
9. Talk to People
The only way to make friends is to talk to someone. Friends help you get through high school. Find that one or more friends that encourage you to do good. Getting involved will also be a great way to make friends, because they have similar interest.
10. Have Fun but not too much
Having a life out of school is always a good thing. Do not over work or stress it only makes you feel worse. Balance things out between school, home, and extracurricular activities
