Scientific Revolution: Change in the way people thought about the natural-world.
It's a combination of discoveries and circumstances.
Who were the people associated with the change?
Galileo
Galileo studied the heavens,he supported Copernicus's theory. The church did not like him, because he didn't support the earth-centered theory.
Copenicus
Copernicus created the Sun-centered theory. He did not publish his work quickly.He knew the Church would disapprove his theory , because it eould contradict their religion.
Kepler
A Germany mathematician and astronomer. He found out that the planets orbit earth.This theory was called the planetary motion.
Newton
Newton invented the three laws of motion. A mathematician and scientist that studied the earth's gravitation.He invented calculus.
He proved that the sunlight is a combination of colors.
How did the change impact society at the time?
Scientists made new tools and instruments to make the precise observations that the scientific method demanded. There was more secular and less religion. New technology improved trading at this time.
