Tutoring
We want to make sure all parents are aware of free tutoring services for all students. First, Tutor.com is a live tutoring service for all subjects from 8 AM- 10 PM each day. Please visit https://www.kcsdschools.net/tutor for more information. Second, we have a tutoring center after school. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, students may receive tutoring from Mrs. Speaks in Room 409 for English and Social Studies. On Mondays and Wednesdays, students may receive tutoring from Mrs. Ferrugia in Room 210 for Science and Math. Both of these options are at no cost to the students, and they do not need to complete a form or sign-up in advance. Please be in the tutoring room by 3:45.

Life-saving Training in Family and Community Health Classes
Instructional Highlight: Students enrolled in Coach Blaze Gillespie's Family and Community Health classes have been involved in the ProTrainings’ Student CPR program for the past three weeks. ProTrainings is designed for teaching CPR to school children in grades 8 and above. Coach Gillespie is a certified ProTrainings instructor.
These students mastered twenty-five sections of First-Aid, Adult, Child, and Infant CPR online training through Protraining.com. In addition, students spent Monday-Friday over the past two weeks in hands-on skill training. The students became proficient on how to assess their surroundings in emergency situations as well as learning how to help choking victims, how to perform CPR, and how to use an AED.
We are Bulldog Proud to share that seventy-seven of our students are officially trained, skilled, and certified in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR.
