Freshman Kick Off

September 22, 2023

We have had a very active group of 9th graders this year. In addition to the Service Learning Experiences which continued this week, we also had our Annual Link Crew Kickball Game under the lights on Monday. It was a beautiful evening to be outside and around 75 students came out to listen to some music and have a little fun. Thank you to our Link Leaders for coming out and hosting this event from our newest Titans.

The Pride of Webster

The show this year is entitled "Our Voices Carry". Our show tells a story of survival, healing, and the power of affirmations. Based on a Rochester mural by Sarah Rutherford called Stories of Strength, each movement embodies a different window and message within the mural. There are four windows and four messages which read, “You Are Strong. You Are Worthy. You Are Enough. You Are Not Alone.” Together, we use our physical and musical voices to carry a message of hope and positivity. Follow along as we interpret each window's story and use the field to bring it all to life!

Marching band needs help!

Are you looking for volunteer hours? The Webster Marching Band needs your help during their home show on October 7th! Autumn Fanfare takes place at Schroeder High School, and we need your help from 4:30-8:30pm. You don't need to stay the whole time, and food is provided! You will be responsible for greeting bands when they arrive, showing them to their rooms, providing band directors with the welcome packet, and escorting bands to the turf field for competition at their assigned time. This is a great way to gain volunteer hours! If you're interested, please email brittany_cole@webstercsd.org to sign up!
