Spotlight on Staff
Our Librarian
Mrs. Ravichandran
Mrs. Ravichandran has been our library media specialist for the past 15 years. She has created an environment where students, staff and parents value all the space has to offer. She is constantly collaborating with our classroom teachers to ensure that the resources made available to students best support their learning inside and outside of the classroom. When she is not working, Mrs. Ravichandran enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children. Fun Fact: Mrs. Ravichandran has twin daughters!
Sign Up for School Messenger Text Messages
As you know, school Principals and the South Brunswick School District often send out important information via the School Messenger platform. In your family’s Genesis account, you have indicated whether you would like to receive emergency and/or non-emergency notifications to the emails and phone numbers for all of your family’s contacts. This has allowed you to receive emails and/or phone calls regarding school closings due to weather and other reminders, newsletters and information from your child’s school.
Soon, principals will begin using School Messenger to send text messages for school-specific information. These will not be used for emergency closings, but only for school-specific reminders, such as upcoming school events.
If you would like to receive text message alerts regarding your child’s school, please text YES to 67587. You must send a separate text message from each cell phone that you are requesting text messages be sent to. Note that if your phone carrier charges you for text messages, then these charges will apply for school-related messages as well.
If you have already texted this number, then you are enrolled in this service. If you do not want to receive text messages regarding school events, then you do not need to take any further action at this time.
Should you have any questions about this service, or about using Genesis to sign up for notifications, please contact the Main Office of your child’s school.
