MD Blueprint and the Future of CPCS
Dear CPCS Families,
Curious about how the Blueprint (MD's educational funding law) will impact your child's school? The MD Blueprint, while well intentioned to equitably distribute money to public schools and the students that sit in them, is providing some specific budgetary challenges to charter schools like ours. We are learning more everyday. Come join CPCS/CCSA Leadership for coffee and conversation to learn more about the specifics for the future of CPCS and how we as a community can advocate for change that will allow us to keep our mission alive and doors open.
January 5 @ 9:15 in the cafe (following Community Gathering)

Attendance Matters
We realize some absences are unavoidable, but we also know when students miss too much school, regardless of the reason, it can cause them to fall behind academically. Documentation of an absence must be sent to school within three (3) days of an absence, either with a written note, phone call, email, or through the school website portal. Parent(s)/legal guardian(s) may monitor school attendance through the Home Access Center (HAC).
