VMMS Weekly Newsletter

October 24

Good evening Viper families,

Good evening Viper families,

This week is Red Ribbon Week at Vista Magnet! We will have activities and dress up days all week to promote a healthy and drug free lifestyle. Please see this Red Ribbon Week flyer for dress up day information, and Monday’s theme is “Life is a journey, travel drug free,” so dress up as a Tacky Tourist.

The Harvest Social is this Friday, October 29th from 3:15 - 4:45 pm. The Harvest Social is our after school social event with music, food, games, and fun for all VMMS students. Students can save money and skip the lines when they pre-order their entrance wristbands this week at lunch for $5. If you wait and purchase your wristband at the door it will be $7 so purchase early to save!

Students are allowed to wear costumes to school and to the Social this Friday, October 29th. Please note we have a costume dress code for appropriate costumes only. Also remember students are not allowed to bring or pass out any candy or treats at school.

Vista Magnet needs your help to find college students interested in serving as tutors for our AVID classes. Tutors are key to the success of the AVID program, and we offer paid positions for tutors on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please see full information on this flyer and contact Jennifer Eckle at jennifereckle@vistausd.org

Thank you and have a great evening,

Vista Magnet Middle School
