College Fair Parent/Student Night
Wednesday August 30th, 2023 (6:00 -7:30 PM) Jaycee Community Building at John Hunt Park
Over 60 institutions with both in-state, out-of-state, public, private, 2-year, and 4 year institutions will be in attendance and available for students and parents to mingle with during the parent night.
If you are planning to attend, ALACRAO has joined efforts with StriveScan to streamline student information gathering for students and institutions. Upon completing the student registration, the student will receive a text message, email, and digital wallet copy of the QR that they will provide to colleges to scan for their information. This takes out the tireless contact card filling out that students and admissions reps despise. This is a very simple step for students to take in order to receive additional information and contact from their desired colleges.

Sign Up to Round Up!
The Round Up Program was started by The Schools Foundation and Huntsville Utilities to support local public school systems. The Schools Foundation is a funding partner of Madison County Schools. The more residential and commercial locations that round up, the more funding we can receive. Estimates show that if just half of the residential Huntsville Utilities users rounded up, it would generate approximately $500,000 to support our schools! By rounding up your utility bill to the nearest dollar each month, you help invest in the future of our students!
You can easily sign up to round up online:
https://www.hsvutil.org/community_resources/programs/sign_up_to_round_up.php
It might be a penny, it might be 25 cents, it might be 99 cents, but it will be no more than $11.88 a year. It takes less than 1 minute to fill out.
Thank you for supporting one of our community partners! Go Bucks!
