A characteristic that is observed when a substance interacts with another substance.


Examples:

Definition:

The change that altars the form or appearance of a substance but does not make the material into into another substance.


Examples:

2. Melting

3. Freezing

Chemical Change

Definition:

A change in matter that produces a new substance.


Examples:

1. Baking soda and vinegar
