Thursday
Parent Teacher Conference Night
Thursday, December 12th
6-8PM
This is a fantastic opportunity for parents/ guardians to meet their student's teachers.
Parents should receive report cards on Monday. As suggested by many teachers in the past, it may be effective for individual teachers to reach out via phone or email to the parents they need to see. I have sent electronic messages and will continue my barrage Monday night. Again, Parent Teacher Conference will be Thursday from 6-8pm.
If you have questions, please let me know. Here are the logistics of the evening:
- Teachers will stay in their rooms. Ambassadors will be on hand to direct parents to rooms.
- We will recommend 7 minute conferences, however some shop teachers may want to take more time.(Post This On Door)
- We will have a sign-up sheet outside of rooms with email and phone numbers and best times to reach parent if follow-up or future contact is necessary. (Click Here For Sign-Up Sheet) (Some parents are unable to receive phone calls at work, so please contact at a specified reasonable time.)
We sent the following message to parents and guardians.
Parents/guardians whose student had any grades lower then a "C" on their Trimester 1 report card must attend Parent Teacher Conferences. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend. Trimester 1 Report Cards will be mailed later this week. This will allow you to understand exactly why your student is not meeting the grade in their class and how you can support him/her.
