Hello Pinckney Families!

Thanks for another great week.

Please remember that our front doors do not open until 7:35 and that those not eating breakfast cannot enter the classroom until 7:45.

We have an abundance of items in our Lost and Found area. Feel free to check in at the front desk and peruse the pile.

Repeat Information: Special Parents Luncheon, November 18, 2022

Pinckney Elementary School PTO welcomes Pinckney grandparents and special friends to join Pinckney students for a special lunch. This luncheon takes place in our school cafeteria and features chicken strips w/ roll, mashed potatoes with pepper gravy, sliced pears, and more.

The lunch price for adults will be paid for fully by PTO, so RSVP is mandatory to accurately account for meals. We will be selling Pinckney merchandise and accepting PTO donations for meal costs. Guests and students are welcome to bring their own lunch from home if they prefer. Guests are asked NOT to bring food from outside restaurants.

Guests are asked to arrive 10 minutes before their student’s lunch to give them time for parking and meeting their students.

Speed Bump Installation Next Week

In order to reduce the speed of cars driving through the east entrance driveway, we are installing a speed bump in front of the crosswalk leading up to our school. We hope to increase the safety of all students during PACERS, arrival, and dismissal.

Repeat Info: Character Trait of the Month= Gratitude

November's character trait of the month is gratitude. Students will be speaking about how they can demonstrate showing appreciation for the people and the things in their lives. Please continue these conversations with your students at home.
