PLCs-Bring a copy of your lesson plans-No laptop needed

PLCs will be held on Monday, September 19th. 4th hour teachers report at the end of 1st lunch. The topic has changed. You will not need to bring a laptop but you will need to bring a copy of your lesson plans. This PLC will be on creating learning targets/outcomes ("I CAN") statements and why they are important to your lesson plans.

Remember to bring any questions you have concerning SLTs. I will devote the first 5 minutes of the PLC to answering any questions you may have.


Thanks so much for your patience while I tweaked the database and worked out all of the glitches. I think I finally have it corrected. Remember to use only your assigned lines that were e-mailed to you and enter your students on only Mondays and Wednesdays only. I will send out the list of students on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in an e-mail attachment. The list will be sorted alphabetically by sending teacher's name for you to easily find your students.

ACT Practice Test

The ACT practice test answer sheets will be mailed off for grading this week. I have taken care of all makeups except for 2 students that I am still trying to track down. Thanks again to all Junior roll call teachers who administered the test and to all the teachers who were patient while holding your 3rd hour classes. Testing went very smoothly.

From the Guidance Office...

Teachers will be receiving copies of last year's 504 forms for your current students in your mailboxes. Pupil appraisal is in the process of reevaluating the 504s for students and you will be asked to attend a conference for your students in the near future to determine whether or not your student still needs these accommodations. You will also be receiving a teacher input form via e-mail from Crystal Lafleur in the Pupil Appraisal department who will be handling these 504s. Please complete and return these forms electronically as soon as possible to help speed up the process. If you don't receive any forms in your mailbox or have any questions, please contact the Guidance office.
