Hello Lakeview Families!
Can you believe we have reached the end of the first grading period? Time sure does fly when you are having fun! We look forward to meeting with you during parent conferences next week. The absolute best part of teaching at Lakeview is the support and partnership we receive from our families!

New Program - Lakeview Littles
This year we will begin the “Lakeview Littles” program in the library. The Littles program is for any four- or five-year-old child that will be attending kindergarten at Lakeview Elementary during the 2019-2020 school year. The program is meant to provide incoming kindergarteners with an opportunity to be a part of the school prior to entrance. Your child will engage in storytime in the library and get to visit a different specials class to participate in a lesson. Your child will also be able to check-out a book from the library. The Littles program will take place on the last Friday of each month, beginning in October, from 7:50 am to 9:00 am. Parents must be able to attend with their child. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Conklin at heather.conklin@nisdtx.org.

Calling all Superheroes! The Lakeview Elementary PTA invites you to become a sponsor of our Superhero themed 2018 Bobcat Dash fundraiser. This is Lakeview’s only large, annual fundraiser. The Bobcat Dash fundraiser not only provides an opportunity to promote your business, it also generates vital support to your Lakeview student(s) and teachers. The proceeds from this fundraiser benefit PTA activities, programs, and events held on campus, as well as, Lakeview Elementary School by providing items such as iPads for classrooms, a shade structure for the playground, and a new sound system for the gym, to name a few. You are critical to our success this year! Our sponsorship deadline has been extended to October 1st to be included in all promotions. > Don’t miss this opportunity click here for details!
