February 2019-- Updates & News for Burnside Families
The week of January 28 has definitely been one to remember with the record breaking cold. I hope you all stayed warm and safe during this time.
As you likely already know, I am expecting a baby in early February. I have been overwhelmed by the kind words and sincere blessings from our entire community. Thank you so very much! Although it will be hard to be away from Burnside staff, students, and families, I will be on leave until early April so I can spend the time with my family and new baby boy.
In my absence, Mr. Dave Craft (pictured below) will be filling in as Burnside principal. He is very experienced in the role as he is a retired elementary principal. Mr. Craft is currently Burnside's Instructional Coach and Master Teacher. He has been working with our students in math this year. He will continue teaching his few math groups while serving the principal role.
Mr. Craft's email address is firstname.lastname@example.org and can be reached through the main office 651-385-4700.

Report Cards Update
Also to note, we are transitioning from trimesters to semesters and unfortunately there are still a few kinks in the formatting. You may notice a blank for Quarter 1, but the Quarter 2 grade is actually the semester grade. Sorry for any confusion. Any questions, please let us know.
