English Language Arts

What are we learning?

  • In our current unit, students will explore what they can learn through an animal’s eyes. As students read, they will consistently refer to the essential question “What can you learn by seeing the world through an animal’s eyes?” and collect their ideas in a response log. Our next unit is Surviving the Unthinkable!
  • We will also be completing a research project and argumentative essay starting the week of 10/28. Each assignment for this project will be posted on Google Classroom. Students will be given a checklist so they track their progress both at school and at home.
  • Students are currently tracking their individual progress on tests to measure growth!
  • Resources: Students have their own individual textbooks that they use in class. They can access this textbook online as well. Username: Hays(insert ID#) Password: ID#
