Principal's Message
In-Person Open House at PUE
We are excited to share that Pleasant Union will host an in-person Open House event for parents/guardians only. Face coverings are required for this event.
July 29 Open House Event for Tracks 1 & 3
Track 1 families will come to Open House between 5:30 and 6:35 on July 29. There will be two sessions available because we know that many families have students in multiple grade levels. Session 1 is from 5:30-6:00 and Session 2 is from 6:05-6:35.
Track 3 families will have their Open House on July 29 from 6:30-7:35. Session 1 will run from 6:30-7:00. Session 2 will run from 7:05-7:35.
August 19 Open House Event for Tracks 2 & 4
Tracks 2 & 4 will have Open House on August. 19. Track 2 families will attend Open House from 5:30-6:35 on August 19. Session 1 is from 5:30-6:00. and Session 2 is from 6:05-6:35.
Track 4 families will attend Open House on August 19 between 6:30 and 7:35. Session 1 will run from 6:30-7:00. Session 2 will run from 7:05-7:35.
Teachers will provide information regarding classroom expectations, learning objectives, field trips, assessments, and more!

Announcements
Mornings:
- Be sure students are seated on the passenger side of your car to exit at the curb.
- Students should unbuckle and have all items in hand and ready to exit as you pull up to a cone.
Afternoons:
- Do not begin to double the line until 3:30 in case staff members need to get out of the parking lot.
- Every car is required to have a school issued carpool tag. Call the front office to request a new or replacement tag. 2 are provided at no charge. After 2 they are $3.00 each, payments made payable to PUE PTA
- Practice carpool numbers with your child.
- If you have an old tag with faded numbers go over the numbers with a black marker so they can be seen by school staff standing outside the car.
- Carpool tags need to be hanging from the rearview mirror until you exit the school grounds. Numbers are called again as you enter the circle so students will be standing at the cone ready to load in the car.

Find your transportation information on Home Base
Families can find up-to-date transportation information (including route number and stop location) in your student’s Home Base/PowerSchool account. Sign up for an account at your student’s school. More information on Home Base is available at www.wcpss.net/student-information.
Before & After Care Registration

PUE PTA Message
Join the new version of PUE MemberHub-FREE
The PUE community utilizes MemberHub for whole-school and classroom communications. MemberHub is a FREE and secure web-based application that organizes families into classroom ‘hubs’ and allows for communications within and amongst the hubs. MemberHub families have access to: classroom contact info, supply lists, teacher wish lists and favorites, calendars, sign-ups, and so much more. You can join here. (even if you have previously joined please join again or double check to see if your info transferred from their old website as the website has changed).
