Austin ISD Family Resources Guide 2021-22

Are you an AISD family, student, educator, or partner looking for resources for your student, family, or school? If so, this online resource guide is meant for you. Use this page to find and explore community and AISD resources: food, housing, legal, financial, transportation, after-school programs, community centers, and learning resources including ESL and GED services, computer literacy, cultural enrichment, and family literacy.

Arrival and Dismissal Information

7:10 - Doors open (the front doors and the doors by the back porch/parking lot)

7:30 - Students leave the gym and report to classes

7:40 - School Starts

3:10 - School Dismisses


  • We are projected to have at least one bus this school year. There will be no parking in front of the school from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 2:30 to 3:30 PM.
  • In the drive-thru (in the back parking lot), please pull up to allow 3-4 cars to unload at one time. Please refrain from dropping students off before passing the crosswalk.


Please let your student's teacher know whether they will:

  • be a bus or van rider,
  • be picked-up on the walk-up side (primary playground),
  • or be picked-up by going through the drive-thru (cars and vehicles only please) at the back porch.

Gifted and Talented Nominations

GT Nominations for this school year are open. If you would like to nominate your child for the gifted and talented program please fill out the following form.

SUNDAY, 9/26, IS THE LAST DAY FOR 3rd-5th GT Nominations!
K-2 window ends on Nov. 5th.


If the student is already in GT they DO NOT need to re-apply. They are already enrolled.
