The Saints...Our Heavenly Friends

This month, we are learning about St. Patrick. St. Patrick helped to spread Christianity throughout Ireland. St. Patrick used green shamrocks to teach the Irish about the Holy Trinity. Students have each been given a shamrock and the reflection question: In what ways can you see God in your life?

VIRTUAL 3-WAY CONFERENCES

3-Way Conferences with parents/guardians, child, and teacher will be held virtually as a Google Meets the week of March 22-26 for 10 minute blocks. The interview site will open on Monday, March 15th at 9:30 am and closes Monday March 22nd at noon.


Some teachers will be booking their own interviews. Please watch for information from your child's teacher.

GrACE Contest

A Celebration of Catholic Education

2020-2021 Theme: Choose Joy


Grateful Advocates for Catholic Education, GrACE, in partnership with the REAL Foundation, is happy to present this contest to EICS students. We invite students of all grade levels to submit work reflecting the importance of, and their experience with or contribution to Catholic education. This year our theme is Choose Joy. How have you worked towards choosing joy, or how have you contributed to spreading the message to choose joy?


Get creative! Examples include a poster, poetry, essay, an original song, artwork...


Details:

What: Create a piece of work based on this year’s theme: Choose Joy.

How: All items need to be submitted digitally.

When: Send to your classroom teacher by April 12, 2020

Prizes: There are two $50 prizes to be won!

Daisy Before and Out of School Care

Daisy Before and After School Care is located in Holy Spirit Catholic School, providing child care from Kindergarten to Grade 4 students. They are open daily from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm including PD days. Daisy provides childcare all year long excluding the month of July.
