SAT School Day: April 27th (on campus)

25 spots are available for Springwood students to take the SAT on campus on April 27th.

Seniors and Juniors have been given first priority to sign up since the spots are limited. All other students will be notified if we still have spots open to register after April 13th. Please check your email for the link to sign up. The email is titled SAT School Day.

I recommend taking the SAT or ACT during the 2nd semester of your 11th grade year, but it is not too late for seniors to take the SAT/ACT if you are still pursuing college acceptance.

Test Prep Boot Camps

SAT & ACT One-Day Virtual Workshops:

Saturdays, 9:00am-3:00pm EST

SAT: March 6, May 1, or May 29

ACT: April 10, June 5, July 10

ApplyHereFirst is offering special Boot Camps for students taking the upcoming SAT and ACT exams. The One Day Workshop will review all areas of the test. Students will receive all relevant content necessary to study and review and will be given a thorough overview of all strategies and techniques for each section of the test. Students will be provided with two official tests for additional practice. Workshops are conducted via Zoom. Additional details will be provided upon registration. Boot camps can lead to 4+ point improvements on the ACT and 150+ point improvements on the SAT, which, even in the test-optional landscape, can be a game-changer for college admissions and scholarships (colleges still consider submitted scores, and higher scores help students stand out compared to students that don't submit). Plus, while the NCAA has waived testing requirements for the class of 2021, their policy for the class of 2022 has yet to be determined.

Cost of Camp: $249
