Spanish
Spanish II and IV students had the opportunity to study Ecuador culture by looking at authentic artifacts sent to them by study abroad students from UNC Chapel Hill. Included in their cultural kit were many handmade items that included, bracelets, necklaces, blankets, bags, pottery and Alpaca sweaters and hats. Students learned about the importance of Alpacas to the survival of Ecuador´s indigenous people, along with the detail and artistry needed to create the handmade products.
