Shout Outs
Thank you Banwaree-Taylor for all of your assistance with 5th grade. We appreciate your expertise and resources. Most importantly we appreciate how you offer help even when we haven’t asked. You’re an awesome team player! Thank you for thinking about the entire pride land!
Thank you Walker for jumping in to facilitate a meeting. Your assistance is greatly appreciate!
Thanks Day for reaching out to another school to get a book that was needed for a lesson. You're AWESOME!
Shout out to Diaz, Cofield and the entire Cafeteria Staff for making breakfast happen on our "Snow Day"!!
Thank you, Pattie, for helping bring fun and creative tech projects in the classroom!
Kudos to BT for providing her students with an authentic, hands-on and relevant experience for working with fractions! They were all super engaged and excited about being little chefs. It is so inspiring to see teachers take risk and opportunities to step outside the box (and classroom) to provide students the chance to really apply their learning! BT really went over and beyond for students- this is how we get results!! I’m sure it is lesson they will never forget!
Thank you Frey for not only locating and securing the author visit last week but for also jumping in to assist admin with introducing her! What a treat!
Kudos to 4th and 5th grades for giving up some of their planning to assist one another with remediation and enrichment for their grade level. That is very admirable!
Thank you to 2nd grade who is working together to send students to each other to offer some double dipping opportunities in small group instruction. This will make a difference!
How exciting to be able to share in the joys of your students even long after they leave Lynnhaven Elementary. Morse, this is one example of how you positively impact those you teach (even later in life)... you are the sweetest and kindest! (See below Facebook post.)
A Lesson on Fractions
Fernandez K class generating topics of which animal they wonder about, researched facts on PebbleGo and took pictures with life size animals from Google 3D! They had a blast peer editing and sharing what they learned!
