Africa, Problems and Pop Culture
Desertification
Parts of coastal Africa south of the Sahara desert are experiencing serious problems the ground going dry, as a result mismanagement of natural resources. Parts of the coast include Nigeria, Angola, Nambia and South Africa
Overpopulation
The Sub-Saharan population is increasing at a rate of 2.5 percent annually. The reason for this population explosion is a sharp decline in infant and child mortality rates coupled with a high fertility rate. The effect can be negatively affected. Which means that Africa has too much population.
Apartheid
The government party from 1948 to 1994 were under apartheid the rights associations and movements of blacks and other ethnic groups. Apartheid first started after World War II by the Afrikaner dominated national party. Which means that Africa is apart from all other nations because of their nationality.
Genocide
The deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation. Which means that groups, such as religious are being killed by rebellion and disbelief about that culture and can have the greed for power when doing so to them.
Civil Wars
A war between citizens of the same country. Which means, in Africa the citizens fight etc. about power and greater things. The Congo and Somalia recently had the Central African Republic which went to war in the 1960.
Disease
Diseases include, Ebola, Jaundice, Malaria, Syphilis etc. Africa doesn't have special care etc. for those diseases. Which means without treatment the disease can carry/spread throughout the country.

Rites of Passage
A ceremony for the transition from one phase of life to the next. A few examples of this is the death of loved ones in that country, And the first time in a culture, A newborn in that country and, The sense of having an issue in life, or a struggle in life also.

Swahili
A Bantu language and the first of Swahili people. Of the African Great Lakes region and other parts of Southeast Africa. Africa's use the language Swahili to communicate in Africa.
Polygamy
Where a man can have more than one wife. Which means that in africa if a man has a wife he can marry another, and the wife can leave (but still be married to that man) but she can go sleep etc. with another guy in his tent. In Africa You can have more than one wife.
Bantu
Is a major branch in the Congo of Niger language family spoken by most African citizens Which means that they use it as a general label for the ethnic groups in Africa.
