Real School Gardens
We invite you to mark you calendar for September 25th the 'Big DIg' when our families and members of our community will come together to begin building our Garden. This will take place during the school day. We are so excited to see the growth of our scholars as they create meaningful connections in creating our 'Real School Garden.' 2015-2016 Student/Parent Handbook and Student Code of Conduct
This year's Student/Parent Handbook and Student Code of Conduct are now available on the GCISD website.
Times Table Trainer App
As our scholars practice multiplication and long division, they should continue to spend time on the Times Table Trainer App to practice their multiplication facts. This is a great way for them to track their progress, speed, and accuracy!
Homework
Math- Scholars will be given homework every Friday during class and it will be due the following Friday. Students are also asked to practice their math facts 4 out of 7 nights!
Reading- Every Monday, Mrs. Lambert will check reading logs. Your scholar must read a minimum of 20 minutes at least 5 out of 7 nights a week!
Writing- Cursive homework will go home Monday and will be due Friday.
Spelling- Words go home on Monday. Test on Friday.
