Examples
Standard 1: Choices have consequences
The Mayflower brought the Pilgrims to America. They found land which was a good thing but it had it's negative consequences too. A lot of the travelers died because they didn't know to eat fruits and vegetables.
Standard 4: Societies experience continuity and change over time
The Puritans believed that there was a right and a wrong for everything. This has effected us because we now have many rules and laws that we have to follow.
Standard 2: Individuals have rights and responsibitlities
When slaves had to be bought, instead of arguing about it they would agree because they knew the sooner they agreed the better home they would be put in and the better jobs they would get.
