Mission Statement

St. John Lutheran School exists to nurture children in faith and intellect, equipping them for Christian lives of service.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,

and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

A Slice of “Spiritual Bread” for the Christian Home . . .

"By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen,

in holy fear built an ark to save his family.

By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness

that is in keeping with faith." Hebrews 11:7

How would you have liked to walk in Noah’s shoes? Noah was instructed to build an ark at God’s command in the midst of people whose hearts were set on evil all the time. Over the course of 120 years Noah saw firsthand how the unbelievers “dug their heels in” against the warnings of the LORD and the faithful example of one committed family of believers - Noah and his family.

We live in a broken world filled with ridicule and distain for Jesus and the truths of His Word. In our prayers this day, may we ask the Lord to bless us with hearts of faith that trust in the His promises - as Noah and his family did - as we walk the road to heaven.

Have a wonderful day and may Jesus always keep you in His care!

Blessings in Christ,

Jon Woldt, Principal

Picture Day is Tomorrow!

Picture Day is Thursday, September 6. The photographer recommends bright colors. Solids, stripes, and polka dots will look best, while busy patterns may be distracting. Children will be photographed against a misty gray background.
