Kinder News
November 8, 2018
Star Parents,
We have had such a fun week in Kindergarten. Thank you so much for supporting our Book Fair. We are so excited about our new books in our classroom library!
Canned Food Drive
- Our Student Council is hosting a Canned Food Drive. We will be collecting canned goods through November 28th. This year, Student Council members picked six familiar faces from around the building to compete for the title of the "Biggest Turkey." Our very own Mrs. Oberschlake was chosen to compete! Let's help out those in need and make Mrs. Oberschlake the "Biggest Turkey!" Thank you!
Important Information
Turkey Dressing Holiday Family Project:
- We can't wait to see your Turkeys in disguise! Turkey projects are due on Monday, November 12th.
Thanksgiving Feast:
- We will be having a Thanksgiving Feast with our classmates on Friday, November 16th. We will be eating lunch in our grade level.
Morning Procedures:
- You can help your child have a great day by arriving to school on time. Please keep in mind that it takes extra time to unpack our backpacks. It is really important that your child is in their classroom for the morning announcements by 7:45.
Extra Set of Clothes:
- It's always helpful for your child to keep an extra set of clothes in their locker just in case they have an accident. With the weather getting cooler, please send in a warmer set of clothes.
Science and Engineering Fair:
- The Elementary Science and Engineering Fair will be on January 23, 2019. If your child is interested in participating, please complete the attached form. After returning the form, you will receive a Student Handbook with additional information about the upcoming fair.
