Happy January Families!
Happy New Year and Welcome back Wildcats!
We hope you had a wonderful and safe winter break!
We are excited for this new year and look forward to all that 2023 has to offer. This quarter is busy, and we have many events in preparation for testing, so daily attendance is important. Please make sure your child is on time and at school every day.
- As shared with you on Class Dojo, Facebook, and our school website, our school has received a school letter grade of a B. We are very proud of our students and teachers for their efforts and hard work. As a school we want to continue to grow and we need your help to ensure they are in attendance and ready to learn. With that being said, it is extremely important that our students are at school every day and on time. Letters have been sent to families to inform them of their child/dren’s attendance. Please feel free to call the office if you have any questions regarding attendance. When students are absent or late to school, they miss learning. Every minute counts!
- Registration now open: Please make sure to register your child for the 2023-2024 school year. Every child must be reenrolled each year. If you have any questions regarding registration, please contact the front office for assistance.
Wishing you many blessings in the year to come!

Leaders Read Up!
As a school, literacy is important and we want to encourage our students to read as much as possible. We have a program called 20/20. We ask that each student read 20 minutes for at least 20 days per month and log each book they read on our reading log. At the end of the month your child will submit the 20/20 reading log to their teacher. If your child reads chapter books, please document each chapter read for daily reading. We recognize our students reading achievement monthly. Please help us motivate your child to read!
Attendance is Key!
- Mrs. Lucero (K-2)
- Mrs. Potter (3-5)
- Mr. Carranza (6-8)
Mrs. Lucero and Mrs. Potter's classes participated in our scooter races.
Mr. Carranza class has earned a free dress pass.
Congratulations to the students who participated in Pizza/Ping Pong with the Principal.
One student per grade level was selected at random based on perfect attendance list.
You can help your student join in on the fun by ensuring they are present everyday.
