SENIOR RETREAT (Apr 11 & 12, 2019)
We are in need of chaperones for the Senior Retreat to be held on April 11 & 12, 2019 at Cedarbrake Retreat Center outside of Temple, Texas. Per the policies with the Retreat Center, we need to have 2 chaperones per dorm. Additionally, each chaperone must meet the requirements of Ethics and Integrity Ministry (EIM) which would require attending the training and submit to a background check.
We will leave for the retreat center on April 11, 2019 at 4 pm and return on April 12 at 4 pm.
Please contact Mr. Chaparro (ochaparro@reicher.org) if you would be willing to be a chaperone or need more information.
Phone Policy Update
After the phone retreat, we made some changes to our phone expectations and policy. We went over these changes in detail with the students and have updated the demerit system and handbook to reflect these changes. Click here to view the changes to the demerit system (changes are highlighted in yellow).
The following was added to the handbook:
Photographing or Video and/or audio recording of any teacher, speaker, performance or other event on the Reicher campus without the expressed permission of the teacher, speaker, performance moderator/coach, or Principal are prohibited other than the recordings made by the school itself, such as those prepared by the Athletic Department or those made of a student performance or game by a parent whose child is a part of the performance or game. Outcomes for the violation of this policy will be determined according to the demerit system or with administrative discretion.
Don't miss out!
SAT
The SAT will be administered next Wednesday, March 27th from 8am to 1pm in the SLAC (across the street from Reicher). The students who will be taking the test will be filling out the answer documents during FIT on Monday. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Conners.

Our goal is to have 140 players (35 teams) and each player receives a gift bag. donations for the gift bag could include any of the following: coupons for businesses and restaurants, koozies, candy, pens, note pads, lip balm, mini flashlights, golf towel, etc. There are many businesses that have such items in bulk.
