This is a scary time.
We know there is a lot of uncertainty right now, as families scramble to make or change plans and prepare to deal with the coronavirus (COVID-19), and try to keep up with ever-evolving news and updates.
We know this can be especially challenging as more and more schools close down for extended periods, leaving parents and children trying to create a new normal at home.
You’re not alone.
Even while we’re complying with “social distancing” guidelines, there’s a wealth of online resources you can take advantage of to keep children occupied and engaged.
Through our work with educators and school systems – providing online virtual trainings, and tools designed for use in and outside classroom – we’ve become familiar with some great resources that we’d like to share with you. Some come from well-known names (at least one that should be very familiar); others are hidden gems. Some are free; others are offering discounted rates to support learning during the pandemic.
One of our core beliefs is that education does not have to stop with the classroom – especially now, when many classrooms are off-limits. Take a look at the suggestions below, and let the learning begin.
