The Edwards Aquifer is one of the most prolific artesian aquifers in the world.
San Marcus underground springs
This is one of the spring that still flows at the bottom of the lake. The San Marcus spring are found at Texas State University's Aquarena Springs. People ride glass-bottom boats to see them. It is a favorite spot for divers who come to see water bubbling out of the ground.
