1. Did you know that HB 410 changed how attendance is tracked at school, reported to the state, and local truancy court? Districts and schools work with students, families and partners to support student attendance and engagement in-person education. Follow this link for more information.

4. Please make sure to update your contact information through the PowerSchool Parent Portal if there have been changes. Contact the high school office if you are having trouble with your account. Fees may hinder your ability to access PowerSchool.

Athletic Campaign
- Spring season sports will be officially starting March 26th. Please check out our athletic website for more detailed information.
- The track teams travel to Seneca East to open their season on March 26th as well. Then on April 2nd, Cardington-Lincoln High School will be hosting the Mike Armstrong Track Invitational, which is one of the top track invitationals for smaller schools.
- The softball team coached by Tod Brininger will be competing for their 9th consecutive league title this season. The team also will be heading to Florida for Spring Break. While in the sunshine state, the girls will play five games.
- The baseball team, coached by new head coach Ryan Goetzman, opens up their season this Saturday against Loudonville.
Guidance News
- Local scholarships for CLHS seniors are now available. Stop by guidance for the packet and instructions. They will be due on Thursday, April 14th.
- Team 9 trip to MVNU will take place on Tuesday, April 12th for those 9th grade students that submitted a permission slip and $5 for lunch.
- All students have submitted course requests for the 22-23 school year. Schedules will be available for pick-up in August with each class having its own designated date & time
- College Credit Plus (CCP) - follow this link for resources made possible through a collaboration with Marion Technical College (MTC). Students that are planning on taking courses through Marion Technical College during the school year of 2022-2023 must fill out the letter of intent by April 4th 2022.
- Please make sure to keep updated on student grades through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Parent Conferences will be here soon.
News from the Quarterdeck
- After studying Queen Victoria and her enormous impact on everything from fashion to politics to health and hygiene to - even - food and meals, the Western Civ II class sampled her namesake dessert, the Victoria Sponge - a classic vanilla cake with a layer of strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream icing.
- Fortifications and the historic means of breaching them is a topic in our History of Warfare class. The class built catapults and fired mini marshmallow ammunition for distance and accuracy.
- Cardington PNN YouTube - Latest episode: March is here and we've put together a packed episode for this week. FFA has been SUPER busy recently, baseball and track are prepping for new seasons, and we talk to Coach Edwards as he finishes his final season with our Pirate basketball team.
