Week 12

Last week, students started on Los Deportes y El Ocio, Unit 6, lessons 1 and 2, which were due this past Friday, April 1. This week they are finishing up Unit 6, working on Unit 6, lessons 3 and 4, which are due by this Friday, April 8 @ 11:55pm. This includes a Final Project for Unit 5/6 which counts as 25% of the grade. There is also a final quiz (leer and escuchar) for Unit 6 that students need to complete this week. Many students have NOT turned in any assignments for this past week as they were on Spring Break. Please note that NCVPS does not have Spring Break -- students are expected to stay on pace with the class and need to makeup these assignments and get caught up ASAP. Please encourage students to stay on pace with the class and not get behind. As always, students can contact me (email/text/phone) if they have any questions.

This coming week I will be communicating with all parents about student progress in our class. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns or questions about your student.

Below is a list of this week's assignments (due Friday, April 8 @ 11:55pm)

Required Live Classes for Unit 6

Students have 2 opportunities to attend an RLC for Unit 6 this week. Please encourage your student to look at the schedule and attend a live class as they will have interaction with the teacher and can ask questions. If your student is unable to attend an RLC for Unit 6, tell them to contact me for information on making up the RLC.

Culture Cafe for Extra Credit for Participation Grade

Students have several upcoming opportunities in April to attend sessions in the Culture Cafe for extra credit. The extra credit for attending a Culture Cafe goes towards the student's participation grade. In addition, students can attend any of the sessions as it does not have to be about Spanish. Below is information about the upcoming sessions in April. Students can click on the Culture Cafe Block/Button on the main Moodle page to enter the session. After attending a Culture Cafe session, students will complete a reflection about the class and submit it for extra credit.
