Phase 3 Special Education Plans DUE May 1, 2018
REMINDER: Phase 3 School Districts - Your full Special Education Plan is due for submission by May 1, 2018.
As we near the deadline for submitting your Special Education Plan, here are some items to review:
- Please be sure your Special Education Plan is posted for public review 28 days prior to final board approval.
- When all final touches have been made to your plan, the Board President and the Superintendent should visit the Plan Submission section of the web application to sign and affirm that the contents of the Special Education Plan are true and correct.
- After signing the plan, a member with “Planning Leader” access should visit the Plan Submission>Status and History section in order to Check the Special Education Plan for Issues. If all issues are resolved, a comment box will appear for your optional comments to the reviewer as well as the Submit button.
Please make sure your LEA selects the Submit button to ensure the plan is delivered to the reviewer’s queue.
We recognize your time and effort required to complete the Special Education Plan. Your efforts in doing so will help to continually improve programs for the students we serve.

Attention Priority and Focus Schools...
Focus and Priority schools will be required to resubmit their School Improvement Plan through the Comprehensive Planning web application by June 30, 2018.
The PA Planning Team will be conducting a webinar on May 25, 2018 at 9:00 am to review the process of completing and submitting the School Improvement Plan. To join the webinar, please use this link: https://paiu.zoom.us/j/649424347. There is no need to register.

Charter School Webinar...
As a reminder, your 2017-2018 Charter School Annual Report will be due by August 1, 2018.
As we near the submission date for your Charter School Annual Report, The PA Planning Team and PDE’s Division of Charter Schools would like to invite you to a webinar on May 8, 2018 at 10:00 am. The webinar will cover an overview of Comprehensive Planning, School Improvement Planning, Title I Schoolwide Planning and most specifically, the content and submission process for your Charter School Annual Report. Title I Schoolwide Webinar...
As a reminder, schools implementing a Title I Schoolwide program must utilize the Comprehensive Planning web application to complete a School Level Plan in its entirety.
All Title I Schoolwide Plans will need to be completed and/or updated in the Comprehensive Planning web application by September 1, 2018.
Phase 3 LEAs - Your Comprehensive Plan is due by November 30, 2018!

Comprehensive Planning Office Hours for 2017-2018
Have specific questions regarding your Comprehensive Plan, School Improvement Plan, Title I Schoolwide Plan or Charter Annual Report?
Join me during CP Office Hours in 2017-2018!
The office hours will be held in a virtual format so participants may come and go anytime between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm on designated days. These online sessions will be offered for anyone who may have questions regarding content, action planning, data analysis, etc.
