Grand Saturday December 1st!

Please join us for the first annual GRAND Saturday! For the past few years, we have had a "Grands' Breakfast" before school. This has been an opportunity for grandparents to visit JAE with their grandchildren and to attend the Book Fair. This year, we wanted to try having this event on a Saturday so that grandparents who are out of town or working have the chance to join us. Look for an invitation today.

News from Jack Anderson PTO

PTO was excited to announce at the meeting last week that Boosterthon was a success, and we met our goal! Thank you to ALL of our families and friends who supported this incredibly successful fundraising event for our school!

PTO wants to thank all of our volunteers for spirit day and staff appreciation. What a fun day for students and staff!

Save the dates for the auction dinner 2-22-19 at Bluegrass and Carnival 3-2-19 at JAE.

Don't forget to send in your BoxTops and also please link your Amazon Smile with JAE!

Meaningful Visits with Veterans

Our Veterans Day celebration was a success! Thank you to the sweet parents who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this day extra special for our students and their loved ones who have served or who continue to serve and protect our country.

Veterans received flag pins and a light breakfast, and students received a wealth of information from our friends from the Hendersonville Veterans of Foreign Wars. Our JAE flag was retired and folded on the morning announcements with an explanation for every single fold. It will be part of a special ceremony on Flag Day, June 14, 2019, in White House, TN.

Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving

For me this year, I have many reasons to be thankful. The students, staff, and families at JAE are at the top of the list when I count my blessings!

With the busy weeks ahead, I hope everyone will be able to enjoy a few days of rest and relaxation.
