SOAR Coalition Meeting (Stand Out Act Responsibly)
A coalition is an alliance of people, groups, agencies, who come together for a specific purpose. The focus of this coalition will be to reduce risk-taking behaviors surrounding substance use and misuse by increasing protective factors in the lives of youth and young adults. All community members are welcome to attend.
*Two sessions are being offered. You only need to attend one session at whichever time is more convenient for you.

The College Board is sponsoring a new scholarship open to students beginning their junior year. The more effort students put in, the more opportunities they have to earn a scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded through monthly drawings to students who complete each action. Students completing all six steps below are eligible to earn $40,000. 1. Build Your College List: $500

Inspired by the Common App, Going Merry is a site that will match you to scholarships based on the profile information you provide and will then allow you to apply to those scholarships within their website rather than directing you to outside sites. Going Merry will also auto-populate your scholarship applications with the information from your profile, saving you time.
