Harriet Tubman
John Fairfield
John Fairfield was born to a slaveholding family in Virginia; however, he disagreed with his family's livelihood as he became a young man. When he was twenty, he helped a childhood friend escape from his uncle's farm, taking him to Canada. Upon his return to Virginia, he learned that his uncle was planning to have him arrested, so he took several more slaves belonging to his uncle and led them through the mountains of northern Virginia and on to Canada.
Frederick Douglass
Frederick Douglass was one of the most famous abolitionists, and African-Americans ever. Born in 1818 as Frederick Augustus Washington Bailey to his mother, a slave who died when he was seven, and an unknown white man. He lived with his aunt and grandparents on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He saw his mother only five or six times before her death.

Secrets safe with me
Harriet tubman was the leader of the
Underground railroad and was very
Serious about it because of the fact
That she was at the edge of being free
From slavery so when she found the
Underground railroad she notice some
Slaves were bound to tell about the
Underground because not all slaves
Wanted to be free some liked slavery
So she shot them because she felt that
She put all her hard work into that
After she has been there for almost Half of her life.
