We appreciate your help!
Dot Day
Dot Day is Monday, September 16.
Please have your child wear something with dots, spots, or circles.
GCISD Reads Update
The new recording forms do not have the requirements for students to read several specific genres. Instead, it provides student choice with just 4 books that must be included in the overall choices of books that students read:
1 informational
1 biography
1 audiobook
1 E-book
The new form is pictured below.
We have found that it works better if every time your child reads at home the books are recorded on the form right away. Then there will not be the stress of "Now, what did I read?" several months later. Please leave the form in your child's take home folder so that it can always be found.
Thank you!
