Goal Setting based on Interest and Importance
How many times have you set a goal. Maybe you even started out pretty strong but found within a short time you had all but given up. Goals that are going to be reached but be based upon two important factor and it all comes down to interest and important. Angela Duckworth in her book "Grit" found that perseverance was based on these two key components.

Katrina is a CAPP student attending the Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology Course- Dallas. She is the author and developer of "Marriage Fitness Training" a course designed on character strengths use in marriage and guided education on reframing our communication. She also authored and developed the character education program "What's STRONG with YOUth?" A character action program for students in junior high to high school. She is passionate about equipping our youth with the knowledge to use character strengths in themselves and to spot character strengths in others.
Katrina was a civilian regional patient safety trainer for the Army Dental Corps. Katrina has 20 years experience in patient care and is passionate about caring for patients and educating staff in these areas. Other accomplishments include writing and developing curriculum for a career college on dental assisting practices and procedures. Incorporation of character strengths, mindset, and grit into her classroom.
Things to look for in the near future positive parenting courses and workshops, relationship and pre-relationship programs. Katrina is also certified through the Flourishing Center to facilitate Bounce Back Better- a resilience training program.
Yes, it is possible to teach resilience skills because resilience is both a mindset and a skillset. Life is full of challenges, but Katrina is ready to help you discover your best you.
