April 7, 2022 Home and School Connection
Reminder- April 12th is a late start
Rice Bowls need to be returned to school tomorrow- April 8th

Dear Crusader Families,
We are going to have beautiful May flowers with all the rain we have been having. It is hard to believe that these weeks are passing by so quickly. As a reminder, there was a change in the calendar that May 27th will not be a school day.
April 29th is parent and teacher conferences. These are optional and may be requested by a parent or a teacher. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you would like a conference with them. They will be conducted virtually. As a reminder, students in grades 3-8 utilize PowerSchool. You can access your child's grades and attendance by using PowerSchool. It is wise to check weekly or to set up automatic emails with your child's progress. If you have a child in middle school, they should be able to check their grades as well. If you need the login information for your student, please contact the school office.
Thank you to the FSA for the awesome show from Matt Wilhelm. Matt showed amazing stunts on his BMX bicycles. He had heartwarming stories to share about his struggles and how he overcame them. Most important was to be a friend to someone who needs a friend. Everyone needs a hero!
Next week Thursday is a 1:30 dismissal for Holy Thursday (there is no after care) and there is no school on Friday for Good Friday. Lent is soon coming to end! Please consider bringing your family together and attending one or more of the liturgies during Holy Week. The schedule for Holy week is below.
Just a reminder that Tuesday, April 12th is a late start. Have you ever wondered what we do during late start mornings? The staff come together and do a variety of activities. They may consist of discussing current events at DP, curriculum, teaching methods, and more. We value this time to work together as a faculty to help improve learning in our school.
Finally, thank you to all the families that have generously donated new items for our recess cart. It is such a blessing every day to see what we receive!
Wishing you a beautiful weekend ahead!
God bless!
Lynn LeTourneau
Principal
