School Leadership and Feeder Priorities
Priority 1: We will implement a balanced literacy program with fidelity in K-12 classrooms to ensure students become proficient readers and writers.
LIteracy Leads
The Literacy Leads Program is a deep dive into a specific component of the Balanced Literacy Plan. Based on the needs assessment our principals completed this summer, the focus for our feeders will be writing in all K-8 classrooms. The program will be implemented in five cycles.

Our Literacy Leads Writing Cycle 2 PLCs were a great success! Thank you so very much, your participation and engagement during our Literacy Leads PLCs is the key to our literacy advancement!
Next Steps:
- Literacy Leads Walks will be conducted Tuesday, December 5th - Thursday, December 7th. We are working on the calendar now!
- Upload student work from a revision mini-lesson to the Classroom/Google Drive by Friday, January 12.

- Cycle 3 PLCs will be held the week of February 5th - 8th.
- Monday, February 5th, K-2nd grade, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., Arcadia Park
- Tuesday, February 6th, 3rd-5th grade, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., Arcadia Park
- Thursday, February 8th, 6th - 8th grade, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., Haskell Ave.
