Our Mission

We believe that through teaching and learning, we have the opportunity to impact and positively change the lives of our students. We believe that all students are capable of defining and experiencing success, ultimately building confidence in themselves while instilling a spirit of generosity, drive, passion, and focus. We work in collaboration with San Jacinto College to help at-risk students attain college credit with the aspiration of earning an Associate’s Degree and Distinguished High School diploma in four years.

"We Will Be Successful"

In "Start With Why", Simon Sinek writes about the difference between success and achievement, with the former being a state of being. and the latter as something tangible such as a goal. Our motto immediately came to mind. While the tangibles of earning a degree at the same time as graduating are an extraordinary feat for any student, I hope each of our graduates leave with the state of mind of knowing they will succeed at what they pursue. I have seen students previously unsuccessful develop confidence, and resilience despite being challenged on a daily basis. They have begun to establish their why of being here. I am excited about some of the things we are continuing this semester as well as planning to improve our impact with our future classes. Have a great week!
