Summer Messages!

We hope you are enjoying your summer vacaions! This rain is a great opportunity to sit down with a great book and read. We would love to see what you're reading so tag @ellisorbulldogs on Facebook and Twitter and use #Ellisorsummer2018.

Our AMAZING Garden Club Sponsors Mrs. Stepanik and Mrs. Schindler have been VERY busy in the Ellisor Garden. They constructed the greenhouse that Mrs. Schindler was awarded through the Magnolia Education Foundation grant this year. It looks wonderful. Be sure to check out their blog in the link below. You will also get a sneak peak of the things growing this summer.

If you are not a member of the Ellisor Elementary PTO, Magnolia Texas page, be sure to join now. You can stay up-to-date with different activities and information throughout the summer.

Summer Fun at Chick-Fil-A Alden Bridge location - Our very own Mrs. Weilmuenster will be at Chick-Fil-A for a little hands on science fun on June 26th from 9-11. She would love to see some Ellisor students!

Don't forget...the last day to pre-order school supplies is June 24th. This will save you the hassel of lookinf for the school supplies, and what's even better, they will be in your child's classroom on Meet the Teacher so you won't have to bring anything. There will be NO sales for pre-packaged supplies on Meet the Teacher night so order TODAY!

First in Math Summer Challenge - Don't forget to play First in Math this summer. Here is message from Mrs. Oelschlegel: All K-3rd students have a Summer Math Challenge to complete for a special summer surprise!!! It was placed in their Report Card envelope. Email poelschlegel@magnoliaisd.org

In other Ellisor News...The shade structure over the basketball court on the back playground was installed and will be ready for you when you return to school in August. It looks great!

Magnolia ISD Summer Camp Adventures

Magnolia ISD is offering weekly camps for students ages 5 - 12 during the summer months. The programs are led by MISD employees and/or teachers who are trained and attain the appropriate certifications for the programs assigned.

Summer Camp runs Tuesday, May 29 through Friday, August 10. Please Note- the start of the first day of school is Monday, August 20.

Bear Branch Elementary
Drop-off 6:30 - 9:00 a.m.
Camp Activities 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Pick-up 4:00 - 6:30 p.m.

Alternative drop-off/pick-up location:
Magnolia 6th Grade Campus
Drop-off 6:30 - 8:30 a.m.
Pick-up 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Important Information from Ellisor

•Driver’s license required for check-in and child pick-up.

•Doors open at 7:45 AM

•School begins at 8 AM.

Dismissal is at 3:30 PM.
