Family Math Night

Family math night for the K-2 wing is this Wednesday, March 25th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. I know the date has changed several times due to conflicts on the school calendar. Thank you for being flexible. Below is the agenda for the night. Please report to the gym at 5:45 p.m. to greet arriving families. You will have about 10 minutes with each group to teach your game and let scholars play with their parents. If you have any questions, please let me know.

5:45-6:00: Greet arriving families in the gym.

6:00: Dean Blair will welcome families and describe the evening's events to families.

Weekly Assessments

Please remember to use the scan trons for weekly assessments beginning this week. Place scan trons in alphabetical order and be sure to include a key on the top. Turn the scan trons in along with the thumb drive that was provided to you last week. Please put your name on the thumb drive as they are all the same. I will scan your assessments and return them along with your thumb drive. You may place everything in my mailbox.

Bathroom and Drink Breaks

Traffic in the hallway is increasing again with the number of students using the restroom and getting drinks in the afternoon. Please limit the number of times your scholars are in the hallway. I understand some scholars use this as an opportunity to take a break from the classroom, however, it is becoming excessive again. Starting this week, no scholars are to be in the hallway unaccompanied for the first 15 minutes of the day (8:15-8:30) and the last 15 minutes of the day (2:55-3:10) unless they are arriving to school or being dismissed early.
