PGMS Honor Roll Effective 2019-2020
In order to accommodate the Exploratory Language Program at the Middle School, 7th grade encores now rotate on a trimester basis. Therefore, 7th grade quarterly honor roll is based on grades in core classes only. Honor roll for 6th and 8th grades will continue to be based on grades from core and encore classes.

See Civil Rights history come alive onstage! Join two teenage students as they become part of important historical scenes involving Teddy Roosevelt, Rosa Parks, Ossie Davis, W.E.B. Du Bois, Martin Luther King Jr., Robert F. Kennedy, Malcolm X, and others. Students will be entertained, moved, and inspired as they witness this Freedom Ride.
Curriculum Connections:
- PA Academic Standards: Arts and Humanities; Civics and Government; History
- Examines the Civil Rights Movement in depth.
- Discusses issues of racial profiling and affirmative action.
- US history, historical analysis and skills development; contributions of individuals and groups; rights and responsibilities of citizenship.
- Historical and cultural contexts; conflict and cooperation among groups; speeches and writings that impact civic life.
- Ideal for Black History Month or Diversity Awareness.

2019 -- School Performance Profile
Pottsgrove Middle School 2019 Score - 70.3 (Link to Document is Below)
The Pennsylvania Department of Education published Act 82 building level scores on Friday, November 15th. These scores are final and will be used to complete educator evaluations.
We aim to complete the information on educator evaluations by December 6. This includes both PVAAS data (for those involved) and SPP scores.
Please continue to check for your updated evaluations and we will email staff once they have all been finalized. We will also be scheduling individual meetings with staff member that received an isolated PVAAS rating, related to their 3 year rolling average.
