Superintendent's Report
Board President's Report
This is a challenging time for all members of our community - our children, parents, teachers, and the amazing administration staff. We’re going on week two of this unprecedented pandemic. The administration and the staff have been working hard to support our kids and the parents. I know I need as much support as possible.
Ms. Schneider usually goes over the agenda but I want to call your attention to item P under business agenda items. Mayor Jackie Lieberberg called me and asked if there was a way we can help Beth Israel hospital in Newark with goggles that they desperately needed. Dr Burton quickly reached out to her staff at the high school’s science department and determined that we had goggles to donate.
This is one example of many where our schools are the center of communities in our town and lend a helping hand to those in need in surrounding communities.
Our board will continue with our duties and conduct business virtually as allowed by law. Our committee meetings will continue and will be done virtually as well under further notice.
