Homework Club
We are excited to begin offering Homework Club! starting this week. At Homework club, students will be provided with a quiet, structured environment. Students will work with our staff to complete assignments. They will also strengthen important skills such as organization, task initiation and study skills.
- Virtual (Wednesdays only): If your child is attending the virtual homework club, this will be held on Wednesdays. Wednesdays virtual homework club will run from 2:20 and end at 3:20. - In Person (Tuesdays and Thursdays): If your child is attending an in person homework club, please sign your child up for a day related to their cohort. The in person homework club will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:20- 3:20. Students should report to the cafeteria.

Travel Outside of Massachusetts
Students who have traveled out of state and who do not meet an exemption, should not enter our school buildings if they have not quarantined or obtained a negative test result upon their return to Massachusetts. For the most up-to-date information on the state’s travel restrictions, including the list of exemptions and lower-risk states, please click here.
Students who have not met an exemption must (a) quarantine for 10 days or (b) produce a negative COVID-19 test result that has been administered up to 72-hours prior to their arrival in Massachusetts. All travelers must immediately begin the 10-day quarantine until a negative test result has been received. If you have any questions, please contact our school health office. Below is the full list of symptoms for which caregivers should monitor their children:
❏ Fever (100.0° Fahrenheit or higher), chills, or shaking chills
❏ Cough (not due to other known cause, such as chronic cough)
❏ Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
❏ New loss of taste or smell
❏ Sore throat
❏ Headache when in combination with other symptoms
❏ Muscle aches or body aches
❏ Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
❏ Fatigue, when in combination with other symptoms
❏ Nasal congestion or runny nose (not due to other known
causes, such as allergies) when in combination with other symptoms.
If your child is experiencing symptoms, has tested positive for COVID-19, has a household member who is COVID positive, or has been informed that they are a close contact to someone who is positive, please keep your child quarantined (stay home) and reach out to to the school nurse at msnurse@kingphilip.org or 508-541-3457 for guidance.
