Spring is here! Almost. I think?
Our Marine Biology group spent 5 days off the coast of Victoria exploring marine life, spending time in nature, learning about sailing, and working on team building activities. The smiles on their faces while they tell their stories make it worth every minute of planning and organizing that went into it. Thank you once again for all of the community support during their fundraising efforts. Without all of you this trip would not have been possible and we are so appreciative! A huge thank you also goes out to Ms. Kirk, Ms. Smith, and Mr. Turner for the time they volunteered to make this trip a reality.
Now that report cards have been released I would appreciate any feedback you have. I know that the outcomes-based reporting in grades 1-6 can be overwhelming to look at, but I hope that you see value in the more in-depth information that it provides. We know that some of those outcomes need to be reworded to make them clearer and I will be taking that feedback, along with anything else you have, to Palliser/Edsby so that we can improve these moving forward. Learning conferences are scheduled for Thursday, April 6th starting at 4:30pm. Teacher schedules booked up quickly so if you are unable to attend any of the remaining appointment times, please contact your child's teacher to make arrangements.
Easter break is almost here. As a reminder, April 6th is the last day before our break and students return to classes on April 17th. I hope you all enjoy your time off!

Check out our new water bottles!
All Milo School students received a personalized water bottle last Thursday. Mr. Mattson ordered the water bottles with the Milo School Logo and Mrs. Lahd added each students name. Funds from the Palliser ATA were used to help purchase the water bottles.
